You could always add a inline feeder to you system and put your soluble fern tree fertilizer into it. It might be a little bit of a weaker solution but that's what we do with are system.

Hi Kristen. I must get round to linking up the weather station to the internet . Im not sure if to conect it to a old laptop i have or to a cube case computer i built a couple of years ago . I must sort it out soon with the winter being just round the corner and so many plants to put away and protect.

At 4pm we left home to drive up to the other halfs parents for a sunday roast they live between Maidstone and Strood . We drove up in a bit of a quite spell. The heavy rain has just started now and the weather station is say its raining at a rate of 6.4mm per hour also the pressure is falling rapidly.

We did the grow almost dry method last winter in the greenhouse which was heated to between 5 to 10c and they came through ok.

It went down to 12c at 2-36am this morning and now its 13c the wind speed is a avg of 13mph over the last 10 minutes and we have had 0.6mm of rain since it started but its more steady rain now. Wrap the kids up and make them nice and warm.

Well the time is 9-25 the rain has just started down here, The weather station is showing the wind speed is increasing and the pressure is dropping slowly so this must be the start of things.

It looks like its going to get to us at about 9am ish looking at the radar on the met office app. Its also saying we will get winds between 20 to 30 mph.

Andy we had a e-mail from maplins this week they had a usb weather station for £50. Ive just checked the e-mail Sorry Andy the offer was only for 24 hours.

Hi flounder i will let you know how things go when we use it. Last time we used the soaking method and had just over 10% germination rate.

Germination Solution.

I have just had 4 types of musa seeds arrive and they came with some saltpeter powder. My question is has anyone one here used this solution to aid germination.
