id dig about 3 spade widths out from the trunk maybe 4.. just dig a circle around each trunk as big as you want... then once you've done that just dig deeper and use the spade to prise it a bit from every angle then once it starts to move a bit, drag it out of the hole.. thats how id do it... then g...

Hello mate. Looking at the photos you've provided, it looks like they are close to the fence. You could gig out a good size on the opposite side but next to the fence will be a little more tricky.. id just dig as deep as you can and get as much rootball as you can.. Get a crowbar and prise them out....

Last few. Have you had your washingtonia in the Green House all this Time? I'm in Germany and mine ave been out up until now with no protection.. Still looking good and the leaves are really robust, unlike from when I left them inside.. I hope that the winter weather stays as it is.. I could handle...

Dave have you thought about irrigation pipes to manoeuvre about and drip feed the beds? In Germany we are not desperate for rain. Our ground water is so high and our rain tanks are now at 3m 20cm and we had to dig out the ground further back in the garden yesterday to put another 7,000 litter tank ...

In Germany we are not desperate for rain. Our ground water is so high and our rain tanks are now at 3m 20cm and we had to dig out the ground further back in the garden yesterday to put another 7,000 litter tank in.... Water is flowing back towards the house and sits 18cm in the downspouts. Sand lies...

Not so sure mate, as I'm also new to Trex. I got mine from a forum member and the original growing point stopped and is now brown bread. It sent out new growth from 4 points lower down but only one carried on growing, so i snapped the others off. Now its got 5 leaves and producing nearly 2 more athe...
