just googled the centranthus you mentioned thanks (otherwise I would have no idea about it) and I think it might be actually that instead now, both seedlings do look a little similar

Echium transplant
I noticed what looks like to be I think a Echium seedling growing on our front garden, no idea how it got there but I was wondering how they cope being dug up and transplanted? as I would like to replant it in the back garden

it was pushing out new spear (it go through the winter fine with no protection) but then the poor thing got crushed

i had a Microspadix but one of my family members fell over and completely flattened it and hurt themselves in the process
but the trunk was snapped

I have one, got through winter fine, they really are nice little palms, mine has sent up a shoot thing I presume will flower soon

I am growing both.The nannorrhops is slow,but not too bad,I am growing mine in a greenhouse so the extra heat will be helping.They seem to be available in different colours blue,silver and green.My two are both green(maybe the green variety requires less heat to grow :?: ),which normally ,would be ...
