You boys both have a point because on face value Stephen's analysis can seem a bit OTT but he just states what could possibly occur, where as Nigel seems seems to think first hollows don't exist and the chances of -6 or -7 don't exist....

26C in a sheltered spot what's the point of posting that, it's a bit like under my cloche it got to......otorongo wrote:Today's high: 18.6C

As Nigel has said there is nothing severe in the forecasts regarding frost. Rain may be more if a problem!

I think the signs are there for more cold moving in from this relatively mild start to the winter - probably second half of January onwards. Hope I am wrong........

Definite frost prospects here tonight down to 0.7C at 10pm.
