Is it possible to force a Basjoo to pup

I've a couple of reasonable sized ones I am overwintering indoors but could really do with half a dozen. is it possible to force them to pup at this early stage. I remember someone beating up an Ensete, is there a similar technique with Basjoo?

Rotting musa basjoo

Hi all, first post on here..... I have a 3 to 4 year old musa that I wrapped up for winter a few months ago.
