Whats peoples PERSONAL experinces on overwintering these.........and does anyone know if they are any being sold off......B&Q, Ikea, GC's etc. I live the ones wwith the chunkier trunks on ebay from Germay.

Went to our local B & Q yesterday and bought one of these. I thought they were a good price at £8.98. It needs repotting, so when that's done it will be sitting on the patio for the Summer. They have excelled this year with their tropicals and were lots of different sorts to be had. DSCN0392.JPG...

Phoenix roebelenii is flowering is head off this year. It has flowered before but not like this.

Is this normal for Phoenix roebelenii ?

Is this how a phoenix roebelenii trunk should look like, is it normal for parts of the trunk to be soft and break of easily and bit of black on it, is it rot ??? :? (Those pictures are of my phoenix roebelenii)
