I never understood why all barrows didn't look like that. wheelbarrows seem harder work than doing it by hand to me.

no.1 reason for voting out of the EU atm

the daft and most serious thing about this EU ban list is that it gives the right to EU inspectors to come into your garden and seize and destroy any banned plants.

no expert at these at all but going on general plant growing ideas I would plant it, cut just above the lowest buds, let it grow this year and then cut it back next year for stooling.

if the runners are going down under root barrier it has been put in wrong.
you are supposed to angle it so they deflect upwards.

well to put it simply if you plant a running bamboo and don't expect it to run and spread you are just thick. in open ground like that you just need to keep snapping off the new shoots while they are soft when they appear in the wrong places.

although new shoots everywhere in a kids playground could be dangerous since they are like little spikes
