Re: Yorkshire Kris blog: NEW GARDEN REVEAL.

I wouldn't rush planting anything. you should really take the time to do a proper design I'll share my design ideas soon enough. You don't have to share them now Kris. Although i would get the big trachycarpus planted as soon as possible. Being in that pot for that time and it not looking much diff...

Re: 10ft Trachycarpus - Now Planted with Pictures

Thanks for the advice, I thought I had left enough gap between the fence, might not have taken into account it's eventual spread. I guess if worst came to worst you would have a palm that looked great from one angle and flat from another if the neighbour decided to hack it back. I think I'll try an...

Re: 10ft Trachycarpus - Now Planted with Pictures

Nice Trachycarpus mate. In all honesty id leave it where you have planted it. Looks a good 8 inches from the fence, and as you said the neighbours love it. The trunk wont get much thicker and disturb the fence, and when we get colder weather in the near future, it will keep it protected from the win...

Re: My Tetrapanax "Rex" papyrifera from Springy.

This is some of my root cuttings in my unheated conservatory they dont need much heat and they start to grow Looking good. Two of my leaves have wiltered/shrivelled up. Is it due to the soil being to wet? I have no idea. All was growing nicely until the last 4 days or so. Don't you kill it Kohwoz! ...

I just ripped it off and sprinkled it in the soil.. Looked on the internet and they say that it is good to do that.

Looking more like a plant now. The original growing point still hasn't produced a leaf yet. Still dry.
