off to llandudno

Im off to Llandudno tomorrow, so I'll try to get some photos from Haulfre and Happy Valley Gardens. HVG is quite interesting with regards to plants as they have red hot pokers and cannas galore. So I'll look out for those and try and get some good pics and post them on Monday :)

Urvilleana is reputed to be the hardiest of the Tibouchina family, and as a consequence the most cultivated.

Gary Bethel in Wirral grows this successfully outside all year with no protection and hes never had problems with losing leaves plus its about to come into flower, I'm surprised therefore that people dont try this more. Its not the white veriety its the purple-pink variety, not sure whether its Urvi...
