is it time ?

Ive brought my variegated tanee (and pups) in as it got shredded in the strong winds. Sikkimensis and basjoo stay out permanently anyway. Hiniba and maurelli are still out but will come in at a later date when proper winter sets in.

On another note, would you get away with macrophylla planted out where you are? Di Mmmm, possibly but i've read conflicting stories on "Mac" . i have four variants planted out in various numbers that all cope with winter unprotected, Taiwaniana, Alpina, Delavayi and Rhododendrifolia. I would think with your coastal location any of those would be worth a try
