They look lovely outdoors :D ive got one indoors but its a long long way from those, mine hasn't got a trunk yet even does anyone know how long it takes for them to get a trunk? ive had mine a year and it really is doing ok minus a few brown specs on the leaves or tips (Got 2 new leaves coming up) I...

There are some really nice large CIDPs in Torquay and Falmouth plus lots of other palms as well so It would be interesting to have some pictures of them as well. Have we no forum members in those areas? Also the largest J Chilensis in Europe growing outside in northern Europe is found in the Channe...

It hard to say something about trunc scale, but my first impression is the that one that I grow in my garden has a bigger trunc already or at least very similair :wink:
