I thought i would have a go at growing some American agave seeds now that the rest of my seedlings/plants have been planted out. I know have more room to do it all over again.

Anybody heard of Agave nigra?,found some at Amulree,god they are gorgeous,only got a terminal spine.Also found Agave weberi,£125,but the cheque book wobbly badly & I nearly succumbed.Depending on how much gets spent on Monday will decide if I have one of the Agave nigra £45.

I have an agave ferox which is showing damage to it's leaves. It did the same thing this time last year,one by one the leaves develop a brown dried up patch in the centre leaving a border of about 1" still green around it. ...

I hav'nt waterd it for ages, when do I begin to water it, do I feed it?

I see this often in Spain, and looking at this website it looks like a few of you grow this cactus in your garden.
