Would my large aloe arborescens survive the winter in a pop-up cold greenhouse please?
I can't get it indoors; it's too heavy for me to manage.
I'm in the south west, and apart from last year, winters are pretty mild.

Managed to get some fresh seeds from some of these that were flowering on the island. Ive split them into batches to help me get at least some to germinate: some in moist kitchen roll in a bag in the fridge for a month before bring ing out to warm temperatures some in kitchen roll, in a bag on a win...

I now its a long shot and a million to one chance, has anybody got or know where you can get Aloe Susannae from in the UK or the world.

I'm intrigued as to whether there are other aloes that are reasonably hardy in the UK?

Well that's the problems, the Bamboo in a pot is forcing the Aloe Striatula over on its side. I've staked it with a bamboo cane so it will grow upwards, will this realistically work, or is an Aloe striatulas natural response to fall over?
