Re: Feijoa sellowiana - has anyone grown this?

got on last year, as it was only small I kept it in a pot it didnt really do anything growth wise and over the winter it lost virtually all its leaves but this year it has really recovered well, so now I have put it in the ground and am training it as a multi stemmed climber.

like the blue fence mate , anything apart from brown or that horrible green that seems to be all over the place gets a thumbs up from me.

massive cordyline at homebase 25 quid

went in my local home base today and they had loads of cordylines which were 7 / 8 foot tall for 25 quid , very nice big trunks on them , they looked a absolute bargain. normally I buy first and then worry about where I will put it when I get home but these were just too big for me to do that this t...

Re: musa basjoo in a raised bed ?

Re: DIY wooden greenhouse staging for £25 ;-)

i know this is a old thread but just signed up to say many thanks for these plans , built them exactly as described and the staging is fantastic , one little thing though - i used 40mm screws not 50mm as it says on the original plans . 50mm are too big for screwing the frame together and will come s...
