Brug Leaves

In the spirit of Kris's 'biggest leaves' series of threads, I thought I'd start one for brugmansia leaves. :DD I know we grow them for the flowers, but they do form some very large leaves too. I'll kick off with a twenty incher, I'm sure theres a two footer out there ...

Brug seed pods

I've several Arborea seed pods hanging from the shrub. Anyone any ideas as to when I should remove them to extract the seed? or do I wait for them to split open on the plant.?

Assuming I get some viable seed, they'll be free to whoever wants some.

Brugmansia says yes to weather

My Brugmansia Charles Grimaldii is lurvin' this weather. It's also getting plenty of water and feed and that really seems to be paying off. This is the sceond flush this summer.

Brugmansia Arborea

This is one of a few that I grew from seed last year and overwintered in the greenhouse. To be honest its been a bit of a pig to keep. Anything more than a very light breeze and I have to drag it in to stop the top stems from snapping off (like last year). One thing I did know, was that it was from ...
