Whats eating my Cycas revoluta?
Been spraying it with Plant Rescue once a week for 3 or 4 weeks. Doesn't seem to have made any difference. Should I wash the "bugs" off? The plant was bought in the sale (I'm thinking it arrived with bugs ... not seen these on anything else I have), and has been under MH lamp for 3 or 4 we...

Palm, cycad and Tree fern Grave Yard
Close to where my in-laws live is a small bungalow where an old lady used to live. Earlier this year a middle aged man moved in (possibly her son) and since then a lot of dead plants have been put in the front garden and down the side of the garage. These are several Dicksonia antarctica between 3 t...

Emperor Cycad
Has anyone tried growing the Cycas taitungensis, or Emperor or Prince Cycad, over in Britain? I know it grows as far north as Oklahoma City, zone 7, and further north as a cut-and-come-again perennial.
The Emperor is reportedly more cold-hardy (and larger) than the common cycad revoluta.
Thanks.
