The Phoenix is 100% roebelenii and not canariensis.

... leaves out? or is this just the case with hardwood plants? Is that a Phoenix roebelenii? Hope the Washy makes it. Im not actually sure.. :lol: Its definately a Phoenix, ...

Plenty of Chamaerops humilis, cerifera and volcano's.
My Phoenix canariensis x roebelenii is just great, there are two Butia eriospathas but apart from those (and the Trachys) then the rest has been wiped out in the last three winters.
September 2008 was about the best my garden has ever looked.

Don't you think it would of been wise to ask her first before ordering coddy? instead of may be putting the roebelenii at risk if she says no?

Definitely not a bad decision Coddy, just keep it wet and above freezing and you should be ok.
