Looking forward to getting a Y.linearis/linearifolia next year. Everyone I've asked about it so far have praised this Yucca for being hardy and reliable :) Goodluck with the rostrata, hope it recovers in spring. I know some who has them for years and they've been succesful with them ...

I've heard mixed reviews about Yucca rostrata. Getting the planting and drainage right and having a good root system are necessary but mostly it depends on the plant itself, some are finicky, some are not. Nigel's example seems to indicate ...

... with the large one will officially run out.... Its actually one of two plance I have still got from when i was a kid. The other being a huge blue yucca that I keep outside. It gets its stems broken every time I move but it recovers and looks magnificent

Most Dangerous Plant In Your Garden

I nominate Puya Chilensis a real brute to move in the pot. Rips you to pieces.Closely followed by Yucca Aloifolia a formidable plant which could probably pierce body armour. Its certainly made me hop about on occasions.Last but not least Agave Stricta,leaves made to punish.

I only have seeds of Yucca Filamentosa (only native). I'll have plants of different varieties but they are way to big to ship. Yucca Rostrata is becoming popular here. If you only send a small amount of seeds, customs won't care whats ...
