Hi Been meaning to post this for a few weeks now. Anybody any idea what as caused the discolourization on just one leaf of my Agave Franzosinii, It was outside for the summer(possible drips from overhang tree?)

Good tip Dave .You can also get plastic pop up cloches at Home Bargins for £9.99each which do a good job of keeping Agave dry.

i would also had Tropical Britain (mail order only) every time(3 times) I have ordered a 3 litre agave from them they have always been bursting there pots and full of roots. Could also try Big Plant nursery although I only used them once but plant was fine. icon_thumleft

Mine is up against my south facing wall in a big pot and it came through this Winter with just damage to one or two outermost leaves. I hardly protected it, I say hardly, I did protect it with fleece in December when we had the snow, but took it off when the snow had gone so went totally unprotected...
