I lost my super dwarf cav in february,its a nana that will not tolerate being put on hold,even though my greenhouse did not drop less than 10c.My new super dwarf cav will be inside my south facing front room this winter.where temps do not drop less than 15c.

Wife won't let me have 'weepers' indoors now. I had a Super dwarf cav on an Oak coffee table a few years back. It weeped and took the surface of the table back to bear wood :ahhh!: They are banned now :roll:

My experince is that Musa Dwarf Cavendish can take chilly temps down to at least 2C.... BUT ... temps rise above 10C during the day. I don't have Dwarf cav atm, but have the Super Dwarf cav which is a smaller clone ...

Steve, I think your chances of getting any Cavendish through a winter by wrapping, are very ... through write a topic on it :wink: This Super Dwarf cav was subjected to 2.9C for one night and looked fine..... ...

Yes I took some pups in May 2008, but were in small pots so did not grow to their full potential. :roll: releasd into the open ground it took off. :wink:
