First two winters that I had this in London I didn't protect at all. It died back to the ground, but eventually sprouted again in spring. ... is already showing. But since it is getting colder there's no chance to leave it outside and see it flower. Has anyone tried digging up a musa basjoo and let in flower inside during winter? Rudy

All of my musa basjoo are in pots and still outdoors at present as temp still good at 17day / 11 night.

When do I need to take them indoors (Unheated Garage)?

Will they still be ok for a few more weeks outside providing day temps still around 10 - 15c?

Best plan, plant it now or take it indoors when frost warnings arrives?

Its not done to well in the pot but its the first year.

I was watering my Musa Basjoo today, when I noticed this shoot growing up near the base. Could it be a pup? I have no idea what to look for.
