germinating musa sikkimenssis seeds..

Hello all :D whats the best way to do this? I paced the seeds in warm water for 48hrs and then planted them in trays on a heat matt. have had them there 2 weeks and I know I have read that it can take months but I was wondering if anyone on here had a better way of doing it? many thanks icon_cheers

Hi, Im Matt
New to the forum and serching for advice about my dozen or so Musa Sikkimensis and Musa Nagensium which i have grown from seed at the start of the year. They are all about 1.5ft tall now but not sure what to do over winter? Do i treat like cannas and ensetes?

... There was some damage on the leaves but stems remained intact. GrevPlants 2012 109.JPG This new leaf was early June. Is this the same as M. sikkimensis 'red tiger'? One website suggested that 'bengal' showed more red than 'red'.
