I have just bought a Red Tiger and i have noticed that the red varigation to the leaves tends to vary tremendously from plant to plant and i was wondering is there any way to ensure the red stripes are vibrant and pleantyful, ie soil like an aeae needs to keeps it varigation,. Sikkimensis Daj Giant

Has anyone tried leaving a sikki Daj Giant outside over winter yet? The pic is one of my island beds, Daj Giant, Canna Black Knight and dahlia bishops children from seed. Thinking of leaving them out this winter.
