Brugmansia leaves
My brugs are finally about to flower at long last. The original huge leaves - now very nibbled - don't look too good, and at the leaf/stem junction I have lots of small side shoots coming out with new leaves on. Can I cut the larger old leaves off to show the flowers better?

Another Brug question
My plants all have leaves growing from the main trunks. Would it be better for the plants to remove these short growths? I've seen plants in pictures with 'clean legs' & they do long neater. Most of it is very short, but lower down there are some longer pieces. Would the longer pieces be ok as c...

I've grown these gorgeous plants for years and I've always fed with soluble feed (Miraclegro or similar), almost every watering - after Akamba visit I'll be feeding some with Mr Mo's special brew as well. I don't get any flowers until mid/late August - is this usual? This is the first time I've had ...

Thought i'd show this girl off as she's just opened her 4th trumpet on the 1st flush. The type is called Chloranth but generally out there on the web i see references to Chlorantha so i'm not too sure if there's a difference. The leaves have held up well up to insectoid attack and hailstones - unlik...

Any Brugmansia recommendations?
For about 4 years I have owned 2 varieties of Brugmansias, both with different habits (well, for me anyway) I had a Dalens Glory, which never grew very tall but was very free flowering from about May onwards, even from 3 foot tall, however every winter I'd put it in the shed & kept dry & by ...

I've several brugmansia plants & I really want to change their pots. What are the largest size pots you've used for a brugmansia? It doesn't seem worth going up just one size & I've been thinking of getting some big black ...

... opinion, is it best to keep them in a greenhouse to bring the flowering season foward. OR stick in the ground to encourage bushy growth. All my Brugs are now leafing up but as ever I'm impatient to see them flower which is normally Ausgust time for my lot... What does the panel think?? icon_scratch

Brugmansia Snowbank
Well after a long wait its finally flowered.
I thought it was going to be Yellow at first, But seems its not. Its sort of a white with a slight pink Hue.
The leaves have started to blister for some unknown reason
