None of mine are protected no need so far. Even my cyathea are exposed to the elements.

... you are able to make requests for fresh spores from donations that they collect from many different kinds of ferns including quite a good range of cyathea and dicksonia. The spore list they publish is quite comprehensive. I just don't seem to have the fern germinating knack!

I'd be really interested if you can find anyone who is growing cyathea from spore as I've tried in the past and failed miserably! I'm desperate to get hold of cyathea robusta (any size will do!) but can't find anyone selling them. I'd be grateful if you could keep me in mind if you have any success.

Well my Cyathea dealbata's have arrived, I have took pictures but I can not upload them.I will get some on before the end of the day.

I only wish i'd bought one years ago but kept putting it off. It must be quite a sight to walk under some trunked specimens and see the underside of those fronds I try and put my potted 2ft C dealbata on a stand so I can see the undersides in summer. A few years ago one the size of your C Dealbata ...
