Way out of my price range, in fact I'd hardly be able to afford the fleece and straw to wrap it up for winter, but great pictures and lovely to see such a magnificent specimen.

Take a look:

Should I email them and ask if I can sweep the yard and wash up for the next 4,000 years? They might go for it.

If they let me have both then you can have one Arlon, you caught me in a generous mood this morning.

Your spending a lot of money Phil £80,

To me its a lot of money anyway.

You must know your palms....do you? Because the Butia I want is not looking like that Butia/Jelly Palm on Ebay.See Phil, some palms are re-named.

Excessively over-priced, I've bought 3 Butia's larger than that for considerably less.

Also, Yatay is the least suitable Butia for UK conditions in my opinion.

Here on the costa Thames /the estuary I think the butia is the best palm you can buy, there is a huge butia planted in the cliff gardens at west cliff on sea it is poorly looked after but looks great and is surrounded by dozens of smaller palms , I know of two very healthy specimens in my town and I am gonna make that three .oh and it's a special birthday treat I don't go throwing money like that around ,but it will look mighty fine on the edge of the jungle :D
