I'm not sure if this has been done before but I'm fairly certain my Cycad is about to flush so I thought I'd start a pictorial record of the progress for reference.
The plant is 14 years old (but new to me) and this will be the first time I have seen a Cycad create new fronds.
I first noticed a change in the crown about 2 weeks ago but it was only very slightly raised. It is now becoming more pronounced but still, I assume, very early in the flushing process.

Re: Cycas Revoluta Flush
Looking good Goggle for a flush soon,
Takes a while yet.
Here is mine, I bought it last year and it flushed in the same year (August)
Flush, begining to end...three new fronds.

Re: Cycas Revoluta Flush
The bigger these get, the more fronds they send in a flush.
My largest one sends about 20 each time now. Plenty of water and warmth helps initiate a flush.
Cheers, Barrie.
