tetrapanax rex where to get a genuine one

i am after a genuine t-rex with the proper claw leafs,i have a tetrapanax rex from easy tropicals but my leafs appear really small and don't have the CLAW look and i have had it for neally 2 months,has any one else had this from there? ,i have seen them on desert jungle,benbotanics,all around £20-25 is that good for a real 'REX'.

it has about a 6 inch stem,leafs around the same across.

If the easy tropicals arnt rex what are they?

Standard rice paper doesn't grow so big does it?

i peronally don't think they are proper 'rex' as they don't have the claw like leaf,and my one has very small ones compared to others ive seen on this forum.

my leaves on the easy tropical ones are starting to get quite big now.

what are the real identifiable differences between normal and any of the hardy cultivars (rex, steroidal, empress)

Perhaps you just need to give it a chance. The leaves change in appearance as they get bigger. It still sounds like quite a small plant and they take a bit of time to start prouducing the big leaves even from a new bud on a mature plant.
