Re: Biggest Trex leaves
I might buy one from crag farm next year. Compare how they both do.
Even daves rex when the leaves are small they are of very different appearce to our bonsai easy tropicals. the leaves have far sharper deeper cuts.
Daves was also cut back to the ground so don't think age of the trunk will change ours list

Re: Biggest Trex leaves
i am still curious if they are selling vanilla tetrapanax as a rex tbh given the large difference in appearance.
is there any other source other than easy tropicals which have rexes which look like ours?

A couple of flash pics from tonight:
A small three lobed leaf.
An even smaller one lobed leaf,
I've not seen it flower before, maybe thats the case.
Well, after producing a few flower stems that haven't yet flowered, it's started producing regular shaped leaves again.
Probably a growth spurt from the recent warm weather, wonder if it will produce multiple stems for next year.?
