Some Photos of my garden at last in Nottingham (More Added)

Post by Panama Pete »

My Garden Aug 2011. I finally got round to do soming snaps today. Ive included front garden and back. My front is mainly themed around dahlias this year, and the back is mainly tropicals, but I have splashed some colour in for good measure this time as it was looking the same in winter as it did in Summer.

Hope you like them!

Really nice Pete, the dark foliage plants go very well with the reds and pinks, you have some super plants.

Did think your house was on fire for a moment though and then saw the BBQ and snack sign

VERY nice! Lovely healthy looking plants! How on earth do you protect your plants from slugs and snails? I've tried loads this year with not much success.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

Hi.

I havnt used any slug pellets for a few months as we have had some thrush birds nest at the back, and now we got the babies, so i didnt want to put any down. Chipped bark seems to of stopped them in there tracks.

The BBQ always gets the neighbours ready to dial 999! lol

I tried growing some from seed a few years back as I really like the look of them. I failed, must try again next year.
