Everything is so dry again

Post by Dave Brown »

This is the first year for many years that I have had a summer lawn, it remained green right through, UNTIL NOW

As I said on another post we only had 22.1mm of rain in August(48.8% of the Average) The sun has been out over the last few days although there has been a chilly breeze. Today the sun came out and it was warm, something we do not seemed to have had for a while. When I had a wander around the garden at lunchtime, I noticed all the wilting plants. Bizzy Lizzy, oxalis, Colocasia, Alocasia, fatsia.

I am now, finally, in full summer watering mode. Roll on summer
Best regards
Dave

This is more like it - 24.6C and humid. I don't care if it is mainly cloudy, it's the warmth I like. Hose is on again tonight. The front is getting a soaking.
Best regards
