Not cheap but its a good looking plant, takes time to grow a stem like that.
I'd be happy to have a specimen like that for the money.

My biggest (got 4). Overwintered nicely and the frost this morning doesnt seem to have touched it.

They can form huge trees over many years I believe so will branch sometimes.

OK, thanks. I thought they look so bushy, when in full leaf in Summer, that they must be be branched. At least I know what to expect now!

Hmm have any of you had to put root barriers down for your REXs?

No but I did get a T rex pup in a colocasia pot! I must have dug up a tiny piece of root off the main Trex when lifting a colocasia for over wintering.

It is now a decent sized plant in its own right.

I'll find out soon enough as the top of mine has two growth buds, one alot larger than the other. I'm not sure if the weaker one will die off if the stronger one grows quicker or if they will grow up together. If they do grow together, mine will be a Y shape!

I got a bucket of roots from moving mine the roots have started to grow already
