Plants water use experiment

In our technical university's botanical garden there is an experiment going on about how much water a plant uses and how much water a plant is giving back in the atmosphere.

Explanation of the experiment:

When a member is interested and has a good question I'll gladly try to ask the professor.
Please keep in mind that the garden is used for technical reasons, to examine plants wich are in one way or the other suitable for technological use.
