Great shot icon_thumleft

My Ensete only 8inches high, maybe I'll take a picture...Then again, maybe not it would probably curl up and die

Nice picture. Has been a very good time for mine, thrown up three of the biggest paddles I've seen so far, and shot up to near on 7ft.........undamaged!

aren't we lucky these can be snapped up for about £5 this time of year for a reasonable size plant. it only takes one more summer for a large specimen.

i bought this about 14months ago as a small plant and overwintered using the dry storage method.

if it gets through this winter in the same way, it'll be huge next year.

This is mine today and is a 3rd season plant. The Pergola is 8ft (2.4m) tall, so the Ensete is around 10ft 3m tall.
