My Palm shop sent a newsletter,

This is what I would call a seedling Musa sikkimenis "Red Tiger". I thought you might find the pot its in an idea for yours your potting up soon or about to.

Thank you posting this :D I shall be potting them up tomorrow :)
I'm so chuffed they germinated.
I shall be nursing these through winter !!! Fingers crossed I have still got them in the spring :)

Mine never stood a chance with me........ :lol: :lol:

I might buy one as flowers are wasted this year and could be worse rain next year.

I also want a Yucca.

Thats not a Musa sikkimensis, looks more like Musa nagensium to me.

Looks very leggy where its been grown in close proximity to its clones, probably why the pots so deep and narrow. Can just about make out the markings on the leaf

Kata, why are you starting topics in a public forum titled with a members name? Please title it about the plant in question, or put it in a non public forum :wink:

Sorry Dave,

I changed the topic title but left out 'Red tiger' as someone else also wrote that as a title. This was only about pot size for the member.
