I have put a lot of pictures up on this forum of my house and garden and that includes one video as well.

Some of these go back to when I joined Hardy tropicals in 2011.

But i will put up some more later this summer when i will also make a better video as well.

I'm like Bill but my trachies have had a harder, colder life, so are smaller, but going up a ladder to tidy a 20ft Trachycarpus is bad enough. The one at the back collects dust, and deposits it all over the lounge patio windows every time it rains. I cleaned them yesterday, and today after the wind and rain they are as dirty again  . As soon as the days are longer and a weekend with no wind I'll be up the Trunky Trachycarpus_ to removed the lower 100 or so leaves. The leaves above horizontal will shed water into the trunk, unlike those below horizontal that shed mucky run off water outwards onto the window.

I have a few self sown Trachycarpus now as well

Not to worry about chainsaws....I hear the trunk fibers will destroy it :D
