A few garden pics!

Post by daftbanana »

Thought I'd just post a few choice pics of the garden. I do enjoy looking at other forum members gardens on here - I find them great for inspiration and ideas - not that mine provide either to anyone but anyway here goes:

How can you say your pics aren't inspiring! That bottle of wine and 2 glasses certainly gave me a push. Beautiful pics of the garden. I love the first one particularly. Crocosmias near t.rex look very good.

I think your garden holds up very well against others here. A nice variety and all looking good.

Just a wild guess but a Dicksonia antarctica? Lol

Does look stunted if it is one.

Appreciate the comments guys. I can't actually remember the fern type I planted in the Dicksonia crown. After losing it in 'that winter' several years ago I thought I would just plant it up with a hardy fern rather than have nothing at all there. I only have a small 1 foot Dicksonia antarctica on the patio at the moment but I'll probably replace the one in the pic with the real thing next year (3-4 footer).
