looking tidy for so late in the season! my grass looked like that until all the rain started 2 weeks back and now the entire garden is a bombsite
I've just started to wrap but clear skies have turned overcast, now hailstone and heavy rain

Re: end of season pics
Looking very nice and tidy for the time of year. Next year everything will be twice as big.
Re: end of season pics
thanks, yes it was about a week ago, nanas seemed to be sheltered from the wind by the house and fence, next year they will be putting their heads over the fence so might not fair so well
Re: end of season pics
Very nice! How do you keep the hostas going?....mine all died back weeks ago.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.
Re: end of season pics
Done nothing at all tbh, there just about clinging on, not be long till there all gone though, the hail stones today didn't do them any favoursTom2006 wrote:Very nice! How do you keep the hostas going?....mine all died back weeks ago.

The plants don't exactly look like they're in the Autumn of life. Must have felt a real shame to dimsantle/protect.
