I was at B&Q this weekend and picked up a 6 ft plus chamaerops (1.5 ft largest trunk) for £60.
Not sure if they will be the same in other stores as It was way bigger than the rest they had at the same price. I'm guessing they go by pot size and this one has clearly out grown its pot.
Just a heads up as I thought it was decent value.
pics not great sorry.

Re: chamaerops humilis from B&Q
I was surprised to find a decent price in B&Q to be fair. I have been looking for a nice bushy one for a while but any nurseries around me that have them at that size want a lot more for them.
Re: chamaerops humilis from B&Q
Initially I thought that the Trachycarpus was £60 - that would have been a bargain!
End of last year I bought 2 similar sized Chamearops for £30. One of which shows now signs of producing offsets so it may me prone to the ambiguous ' arborescens' nomenclature. Still, worth a punt at £30.
Unless sited in a sunny sheltered spot, expect the top growth to become more compact in future years.
