Repotting Venus fly trap

Post by Leaporlepor »

My Venus Fly Trap is getting a bit big for it's pot. I was wondering if there is anything I need to take into consideration when repotting? Also, what sort of (preferably easily obtainable) compost or potting soil is best?

deffo donot use normal potting compost. A mixture of peat and pearlite is best. VFT need nutrient free medium some have had been experementing with coir. pot about an inch/25mm larger than existing pot.pot on whilst dormant if possible.there is specialist compost available from some garden ctrs.Take a look at CPUK forum also
