Was reviewing the snow and ice shots I took this last Monday. All that remiains is bits of drifts and piles that were shovelled and they should be mostly gone by morning.

It will all be back soon enough but this couple of days reprieve is great.

17C? Can't you blow some 7C to over here? I recorded this morning -4.2C as lowest tempeture, and forecast for today is 1C/2C. The only good thing, sun is shining.

Seemed so outrageous that I had to take a look. Really is warm around your area. Your nigfht time temps are around our record max for December.
Scotland holds the records around Aberdeen area due to mild SW winds with a Fohn wind on top. Think from Memory was 18.6C but the was early
December not at the end.

Make the most of it and fire up the Barbe for breakfast

We will be quite cold for the forecast period... but this is the coldest part of winter coming up. Looking forward to spring after this spell...

And now the cold has returned and will deepen. Oh well. Nice to have had a two day holiday at home!

Its been bitter here for the last couple of days. I just cant get warm

And it will be more bitter here starting tomorrow and on. Nice to see the snow melt and clean up a tad before more comes. Sigh...

Went up to 22C here! Its amazing how warm it got in Niagara! Over the past few years we've been getting really warm temperatures in January but not at the end of December. Last year we had 60's(F) here and days later we had high temperatures below freezing.

Nice.... I like the up and downs as they allow the leaves on BLE to rehydrate.

I hope we get some more between the inevitable cold spells like what is coming this week.

In some parts of the US it can go from + 25c to minus 5c and back to +20 in a couple of days. I guess they had that in Dallas recently. Summer, winter and back to summer.
Crazy climate!
