I like Carpobrotus, unfortunately the GC's are out of stock at the moment, or the ones that do exist are fried/mistreated.

i collected some of that green stuff (carpobrotus?)from newquay headland last summer,seems to have taken ok,will see how its going in a couple of months.

Has anyone had success with Carpobrotus outdoors permanently? I bought 2 plants last Spring and they grew like the clappers but are total mush now. :(

Are they likely to come back or have they had it?

Yeh grows like crazy summer dies in the winter seems ok inside

There are two clumps of the stuff near here, theyre both brilliant green and completely untouched, the one towards Birkenhead is taking over their garden :lol:

I would take a piece but it's not very ethical!
