can't remember what seeds I offered you either icon_scratch
icon_scratch I'm racking me brains about the seeds, and I can't for the life of me think what they were.

As for the banana, 8ft is probably a bit too tall for my car - about 5ft would be nice.....!

Morning guys, I am planning on visiting Crews Hill this week by train so thanks for all the help with directions. As far as Membership with Crews Hill Gardening Club is concerned, do I pay before entering or at checkout with goods, do I need I.D., address etc.. and will I get a nice little card for my wallet  . Thanks, I like to be prepared, neil :D

Neil,

Sign up at the entrance desk. No id required. Annual membership is £5 and you will be issued with a card.

Your biggest challenge might be getting that 7' tree fern onto the train :D

Neil

we asked to go in without joining and said we would join if there was anything we wanted to purchase. They were fine with us walking in without being members. (I then borrowed someones membership card on the way out - thanks Eseexman  so am still not a member).

Cheers

Anyone up for a meet? I popped down today and can report that the Gardening Club still has great bargains, September time is probably the best bet as that's when they have their half price event. http://www.hardytropicals.co.uk/forum/v ... 26&t=12686
