Mine has started to do the same Lee, but I think your's is a bit aheadof mine at the moment. When we went to Melissa's I said mine had got smaller leaves and she said they flower but normally get hit by the frost.

Here it was 2 weeks ago. It has swollen up a bit since then looking like a big felted version of a Fatsia bud

I won one on Ebay last week.

I do not have anywhere in my garden to put it, but I am thinking about doing a bit of guerilla gardening with it on the other side of the fence at the back of my garden...

Bobby mate, they will reach the height your after in time or you could increase the watering and chicken poo pellets that seemed to make my first one go like a rocket last year, it's slowed down this year as I've ran out of chicken poo, really must get some more in, make mental note to myself

Hi Bobby like Lee-Ann and I said it will rocket next year but so far it's looking good there Bobby, last year when mine was so small it had a trunk like a sausage not the chipalarter sort the big fat one's and the same circumference as a sausage, but this year it is nearing the two foot mark and may even be a bit taller than that by winter time, and don't forget I dug it up and transplanted it in the spring, so no doubt that set it back a bit, but here's waiting for great things from our T-Rex's icon_cheers

A great plant but a bit of a thug when it gets going, it's now sending runners up everywhere :(

I take it the runners can just be cut off at ground level, or just pulled up if they are coming up in the wrong places, but still a great looking plant there Melissa :)
