Hope you had a good holiday Mixie 8) .

They certainly have different ways of growing their trachies down there. Through a conifer, and the one blown over or planted on its side is very different. It only works as it is above water.

"Arrr-harrrr, me hearties". Pirates of cornish coves... and all that. did you make your lttle Lion 'walk the trunk' in the jungle

Good stuff, looking forward to more pics on the gallery.

Beat regards Dave

Alan they still had plants on ebay last week, but there are no items for sale on there now. Lucien popped in there a week or so ago.

He was selling the 'Montbeliardii''s off quite cheaply on ebay. I said maybe he wanted to get rid of them small, maybe he just wanted rid of them :?

Was up there a week back friday.

Montys were £6.50. 3-4' Ensete ventricosum 'Hiniba' for £12.50.

I picked up an Archontopheonix for £5.

Theres lots of little bits, some quite rare. Remember though he doesn't normally open till 11am. Phone first to make sure he's open that day.

Just thought - if you can stop off at Desert To Jungle next to Taunton. Its much closer to the M5 than Koba Koba is.
