Mr red sir, apologies for hyjacking the topic, but you being the mechanical man of the forum, my mum is selling her fiesta and i'm thinking of buying it, a 2001 1.3i (old valencia ohv engine), but the engine management light comes on at idle, ideas?

chuck 26 concrete blocks in it and drive it off a quay somewhere.that should put the light out

I was thinking cut the wire.


I get all sorts of warning lights come on in my 406,but it's 13yrs old & the electrics are closed to knackered.

I had the srs light come on in a rover 800 (not unusual lol) and i took the bulb out, passed the mot.

Mine comes on and off in me old cav, just ignore it as its done it for 4 yrs according to the old boy i got it off. Oh darren gaffa taped the sunroof lol. Gnia calls the car P.I.P pig in poke lol. It is going later this year. Need something cheaper to run lol. I love it tho, lots of character lol.
