I'm amazed there is such a variation, as I'm presuming they have all come from SteveW, which means they are all pups from the same plant icon_scratch

Looking back over the thread it seems to me that yourself and YK have similar or the same plants and myself and Tony seem to have similar or the same plant icon_scratch
All from the same batch I think icon_scratch

Just reporting that mine survived a couple of nights down to around or below 0c and have started growing again having been stored dry at around 10 degrees until early May

Canna 'Intrigue' Cordy, you must have big pots in the Northwest Cordy as it's in a 10ltr pot

I don't know if it is the light, but yours has more of a white bloom than mine.

One thing Steve was correct about, is the leaves are more resistant to wind than Maurelii and 'Montbeliardii'.

The undersides of the leaves are almost grey in colour due to the bloom it's got the same white powder on the top of the leaves as well.It seems pretty wind resistant but it is planted in a sheltered position but with the very breezy weather at the moment it's being seriously tested I noticed a tear in the new leaf this evening icon_thumbdown

Oh, just realised I haven't updated this. Really grown well this summer and the leaves are the most wind resistant of any Banana or Ensete I have. We have had gusts of over 30mph and only the oldest leaf has any splits and that was from 40+mph gusts back in May.

It's an Ensete, they don't pup. You only get pups if you kill the growth point.
