Another good one from Yorkshire Kris Television. icon_thumleft
I think there could be scope for more speeded up bits after maybe some narration about each step and I was dah dah dah dah-dah....ing the Benny Hill music before I read Kristen's comment :D Highly appropriate! Best check if you can use it without upsetting the Performing Rights Society first though if you do decide to.

I agree - if you did Sub titles and/or Voice Over then no need for the original perhaps?

Just my opinion though.

The idea was to do just that but it wouldn't save with lots of speed up action mixed with voiceovers and text? icon_scratch

Anyway best of both worlds now.

Should I wait until the first frost comes before wrapping by Musa Basjoo or should I get going now? Seems such a shame to cut off the leaves now while it still looks so nice, but I want to protect the stem. I will mulch the ground as well as wrapping with straw and fleece.

Still does not look as if we have any frost due over the next week or two.

It's fine to wait for the leaves to get frosted BUT depends on when you'll have time to make the structure. I did mine at half term because that when I had the time to do it and also frosts are USUALLY soon to follow. This autumn has been exceptional.

At this rate they wont need protecting!

I would think so. Just need to tidy it up a bit and weigh it down with some earth to stop it blowing away.
