Hi i dont agree with alot of what you boys say on Chammys,In Yorkshire its a lot colder than coastal morcambe bay,And in a bad winter sure to lose them -12c max! With some protection like a duvet thrown over for the colder nights no problem,I lost the lot in the winter of 2010-11 with -18c here.Only ones left were my badly damaged Ceriferas now two out of three making good recovery.Trachys best for you but must be planted in free draining soil and not left in pot as these will also die!
