Just a short thread on the state of the cordylines in Southampton. In spite of many forum members suffering damage or complete loss the cordylines in Southampton seems to have got off pretty lightly.
Only those in the suburbs or in frost hollows were badly damaged, but most of the plants in the city were undamaged.
Here is a photograph of a large specimen in St Denys Road,Southampton.

Wow.. they're doin really good pal. I've seen well established ones of similar size and more which have been hit so badly, we've had to bring them down to ground level to recover.
